Toorongo and Amphitheatre Falls Loop Walk
Chase a waterfall or two on this easy walking trail that’s perfect for trekkers of all skill sets. It should only take you about an hour and you’ll be rewarded with a pretty spectacular tiered waterfall that will light up your Instagram feed. Keep your eyes peeled for the mountain brushtail possum, ringtail possum, sugar glider and bats, as they are usually out and about around dusk.

Great Prom Walk
You’ll need to be fit (and prepared!) to walk this 3-4 day return walk which has two options for experienced walkers. Tackle the 35km return or really stretch your legs on the 53km return trail. You’ll be treated to uncrowded beaches, eucalypt forests, incredible rainforest gullies and rocky mountaintops no matter which trail you choose!
If the Great Prom Walk doesn’t satisfy your need to experience the great outdoors, the Wilderness Coast Walk stretches over 100kms and features isolated stretches of coastline you’ll never forget.

Croajingolong National Park
Nominated as a World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO, you know the Croajingolong Natioanl park going to be stunning. The area covered by the national park stretches over 100kms boasting upwards of 1000 native plants and more than 300 bird species with landscapes spanning from remote beaches to craggy mountainsides. Make your way to the top of Genoa Peak for views of the Wilderness Coast via a short 1.5km trail.

Mount Oberon Nature Walk
The two-hour climb to the top of Mount Oberon results in panoramic views of Tidal River, so it’s well worth the steps to get there! Pack your woollies, even during summer, as this peak can be windy and cool all year ‘round.

Loo-errn Track to Tidal River and Squeaky Beach
If your legs are starting to get tired, take an easy hour and a half walk along the Loo-errn track to the white quartz sand of Squeaky Beach. You’ll make your way through the swamp paperbark forest via a boardwalk, over a footbridge to the lookout at Pillar Point. There’s ample opportunities to stop for a spot of fishing along the way and plenty of wildflowers along the trail.
